A section of a building in northwest Delhi’s Jahangirpuri area collapsed on Friday, with officials worried that several individuals may be trapped under the rubble. Delhi Fire Services (DFS) chief Atul Garg reported that one woman has been rescued and transported to the hospital, while the search for others continues.
The DFS received an emergency call at 12:51 PM, leading to the dispatch of five fire tenders to the location. Local police and additional rescue teams were mobilized to aid in the efforts. The rescue operation is ongoing as officials work to locate and assist anyone who may be trapped.
