At the launch event of the song “Hauli Hauli” from the upcoming film Khel Khel Mein, Taapsee Pannu shared her fond memories of working with Akshay Kumar and expressed her excitement about their continued collaboration. The event, which celebrated the release of the film’s new track, also featured an insightful interview with Taapsee.
Reflecting on her past work with Akshay Kumar, including Baby and Mission Mangal, Taapsee Pannu remarked on her fortunate experiences. She noted, “I have been very lucky with all the films I’ve done with Sir. It started with Baby, followed by Naam Shabana, Mission Mangal, and now Khel Khel Mein. I can only hope it keeps getting better.”
When asked about her decision to join Khel Khel Mein, Taapsee highlighted two main reasons: her love for comedy and her appreciation for Mudassar Aziz’s dialogue writing. “There were two main reasons for me to take up this film. Firstly, who doesn’t enjoy comedy? Secondly, who wouldn’t enjoy delivering dialogues written by Mudassar Aziz? These were the only two reasons for me to take the film,” she explained. She also shared a fun fact about her career: “Five years ago, on August 15, 2019, Mission Mangal was released, where Akshay Sir and I worked together. That was also an ensemble cast, and now, here we are again.”
Taapsee Pannu’s Acting Career: Taapsee Pannu made her Bollywood debut with Chashme Baddoor and has since starred in acclaimed films such as Pink, Judwaa 2, Badla, Mulk, Thappad, Rashmi Rocket, Shabaash Mithu, Dobaaraa, and Blurr. She also featured opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki.
